What is "scrip"?

"Scrip" refers to certificates (usually gift certificates or gift cards) that stores make available at a discount for fundraising purposes; they are exchangeable at their face value for a store's products or services. The most appealing aspect of this fundraiser is that our school earns money without you spending an extra dime; you simply pay for your purchases differently. You will be able to spend every dollar of scrip you buy at the designated store -- the store will pay our PTO the percentage contribution (anywhere from 4-21%). The percentage that each store contributes to the PTO is listed on the order form below. In addition, because you pay for your scrip purchase by credit card, you will still earn any miles or rebates your credit card company offers.

Families who have never used scrip often wonder how it will work, or if it will be too much of a hassle. If you are unsure, buy a very small amount the first time; every dollar you spend on scrip will earn money for the school.

1. Fill out the form below and the amount you’d like to order from each retailer.  Note the order schedule below.
2. Pay using your credit or debit card.  If you’ve already established a PayPal account, you can use it here; however, you do not need to have one to pay - you may simply fill in your credit/debit card and contact information.  Your PayPal account can also be used on all other sites that use PayPal.
3. Pick up your order from the school on pick-up day (see schedule) or arrange for pick up with one of the PTO Panther Profit$ coordinators.

Gift Card Wrappers
Not only can you use scrip for your grocery and retail purchases, and for dining out and the movies, but it also makes a great present!  You can purchase colorful, glossy wrappers that fold up to wrap your gift cards (see order form).
